Welcome to the Feeling Groovy family! It's great to have you with us. Here's our guide to lessons, fees and more.

Weekly lessons are an ongoing commitment. Every week, your teacher saves your time, plans your lesson and is ready and waiting for you. That's why your fees stay the same every fortnight, even in the weeks you're away, and your spot is yours until you tell us you're done.

1. Fees and payments

Weekly lessons. The same day, time and teacher every week. Best value, real progress and a spot that's yours to keep.

• 30 minutes: $45 per lesson ($90 per fortnight)

• 45 minutes: $67.50 per lesson ($135 per fortnight)

• 60 minutes: $90 per lesson ($180 per fortnight)

• Billed automatically every fortnight. Fees are paid in advance.

• Your fees stay the same if a lesson is missed or rescheduled. Your teacher keeps your time free each week, just for you.

• 24-hour cancellation policy. With 24 hours' notice, you'll get a make-up lesson or Practice Mixtape. With less notice, the lesson can't be made up, and your fees stay the same.

• Public holidays and the Christmas break. No lessons, and you won't be billed. The Christmas break is 2 to 4 weeks.

• Refer a friend. When they enrol, you get a free 30-minute lesson.

• Late payments. At 7 days overdue, we'll send a reminder and a one-off $8.80 late fee applies. At 30 days, lessons pause.

2. Missing a lesson

Plans change, so it's important to know we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Here's how it works.

• Give us at least 24 hours' notice. Through the student portal, by text on 0485 024 689 or by email at hello@feelinggroovymusicschool.com.

• With 24 hours' notice. Book a make-up lesson with any teacher (up to 2 per school term), or get a Practice Mixtape: a short video and written practice plan. Mixtapes have no limit.

• With less than 24 hours' notice. The lesson can't be made up, even if you're unwell on the day. We hope you feel better soon! If you're up to it, jump online at your usual time instead.

• Running late? Your lesson still finishes on time.

• Want a different day or time? Just ask, and we'll do our best to find a time that suits you and your teacher.

3. When your teacher is away

• Substitute or make-up. We'll arrange a substitute teacher or book you a make-up lesson. You won't miss out.

• Our promise. If we can't offer a substitute or a make-up, you'll get a credit for that lesson.

4. Holidays and time away

Lessons run all year, including school holidays, so your fees continue as usual. Going away? Your spot is yours to keep:

• Up to 2 weeks: your usual fees. You get a Practice Mixtape each week, or pass the lesson forward to a friend.

• 3 or more weeks: a 50% holding fee. Your spot is held until you're back.

• Holding fee. Available once a year, with 14 days' notice.

5. Ending lessons

• Give us 14 days' notice. Fill in our Ending Lessons form, or email us. This gives us time to find a new student for your teacher, so their schedule stays full and they aren't left with a gap.

• Your last 2 lessons. Your notice covers them. You can finish them, gift them to a friend or family member, or finish up straight away (your 14 days' notice still applies).

• Your final bill. Billing stops at the end of your notice period. Any lessons paid beyond that can be used before you go or gifted to someone else. We'll be sad to see you go!

6. Casual lessons and packages

Perfect if you can't commit to weekly lessons, want to try something new, or need help with a specific song. For the best value and steady progress, we recommend weekly lessons.

• Single 30-minute lesson: $50

• 3-Lesson Package: $145 (save 3%)

• 5-Lesson Package: $235 (save 6%)

• 10-Lesson Package: $450 (save 10%)

• Valid for 12 months. Use your lessons any time within 12 months of buying your package.

• Paid in advance, when you book. Want an hour? Just book two 30-minute lessons back to back.

• 24-hour cancellation policy. With 24 hours' notice, we'll move your lesson to another time that suits you. With less notice, the lesson is forfeited (even if you're unwell on the day) and comes off your package as usual.

• Share or gift them. Package lessons can be used by family and friends. Just let us know their name and contact details.

• No refunds. Unused package lessons can't be refunded, but you can always share or gift them.

• Public holidays and the Christmas break. The studio is closed.

7. Photos and videos

• Sharing the fun. We love showing off what our students get up to on our website and social media.

• Your consent. By agreeing to these terms, you're happy for us to share photos and videos taken at the school.

• Opting out. If you don't want photos or videos of you or your child shared, for any reason, please tell us in writing. We'll make sure you're never included, no questions asked.

8. Safety

• Working With Children Checks. All our teachers hold a current check.

• Students under 12. Must be dropped off and picked up from inside the studio.

• Unwell? Please stay home and jump online instead.

9. Agreeing to these terms

By enrolling, continuing lessons, booking a casual lesson or buying a Lesson Package, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If we ever update them, we'll let you know before the changes start.
